INDO-PERSIAN DAGGERS AND KNIVES, A GROUP OF FIVE. Comprising three Damascus and nielloed daggers, the first with slightly curved Damascus blade, elephant head pommel and the handle and matching scabbard with pierced and gilt niello highlights, scrolling foliage and medallion bust profile portrait medallions, length 10 inches (25.5 cm). The second with slightly curved Damascus blade with decorative medallion and overall nielloed handle and scabbard, length 9.5 inches (24 cm), the third with straight saw tooth Damascus blade with matching gilt nielloing on handle and scabbard, length 9.5 inches (24 cm). Together with two small sheathed knives, the first with wavy Damascus blade with gilt decorated ricasso and tiger-head pommel. The handle and matching sheath with gilt nielloing of scrolling foliage, length 5.25 inches (16 cm). The second knife with slightly curved Damascus blade with inlaid Arabic character, horsehead pommel and the handle and sheath with nielloed designs of scrolling foliage, length 6.75 inches (17 cm).
