AN AMBROTYPE PORTRAIT OF A YOUNG BLACK GENTLEMAN circa 1860, the quarterplate head and shoulders portrait of a young black man with goatee in suit with vest displaying gold pocket chain contained in a Sir Roger de Coverly and the Gypsies molded gutta percha union case with gilt oval mat. 4 inches x 5 inches overall.
