A MAGIC LANTERN SLIDE OF A SLAVE PEN circa 1890, exterior view of Price, Birch and Company, Alexander, Virginia after the circa 1865 anonymous original depicting several soldiers standing at attention near a wagon in front of the firm Price, Birch and Co., Dealers and Slaves. From the John C. Taylor series War Memories, the black opaque mat with gilt printing Original War Views 1860-1865. 3 1/8 inches x 3.75 inches.
