A COLLECTION OF 140 JOSEPHINE BAKER CIGARETTE ADVERTISING CARDS circa 1930's. Contained in a 23 leaf photo album with blue decorated Art Deco oil cloth cover and a Pour se Rendere Chez Josephine Baker advertising card on inside cover. Each mounted 2.5x3.5 inch card depicts various studio stills of Josephine Baker in theatrical costume, various stages of undress, and portraits. A unique and complete collection of material purportedly assembled during the period by the Baker family. 10 x 13 inches overall.
