A U.S. ARMY 24TH INFANTRY MANILLA LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM REAL PHOTO POSTCARD circa 1913. Depicting the all black 24th Infantry baseball team stationed in Batangas, Philippines in uniform with gear on the steps of a barracks. Period inscription on verso Batangas P.I. July 20th, 1913 Champion Baseball Team Co. B 24 Inf. and naming each player as: Henry Jordan C., Robert Williams 2.B, Claud Rollins 1.B, Oscar Charlston P.C.F., Melvin Henning S.S., Just. Richmond C.F., Samuel Young 3.B., Daphen Gunthers P., Stump Johnson L.F., Robert Larkins R.F. Postally unused, good to very good condition.
