BEER STEINS, A GROUP OF FOUR GERMAN EMBOSSED STONEWARE BEER STEINS, CIRCA 1900. With polychrome glazed decoration comprising a Graf Zeppelin, and Austrian Imperial eagle with figural pewter finial on lid, a large Reinhold Merkelbach stein with embossed figural three panel Germania peace/war theme 1870-1871 and with hand painted porcelain portrait inset lid of German Kaiser Wilhelm 1st, named to B. Waschhuser; and a foliate embossed stein with drinking poem inscription. Height 7.75 inches (19.5 cm) to 9.75 inches (25 cm).
