A VERY FINE CHINESE EXPORT CARVED ZITAN WOOD AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL CANDLE STAND, 19TH CENTURY. The inset cloisonné top depicting a white crane in flight with bamboo shoots and wild flowers reserved on a blue ground above a floral carved pierced skirt raised on a three legged pedestal carved with an immortal figure holding a lotus branch and vase below pine trees atop a rockery base with mythical beast form legs terminating in carved claw and ball feet. Height 30.5 inches (77.5 cm), diameter 16 inches (40.75 cm).
