AN EXCEPTIONAL FABERGÉ SILVER-GILT, EN PLEIN AND SHADED ENAMEL PICTORIAL KOVSH, FEODOR RUCKERT, MOSCOW, 1908-1917. Resting on a ring foot, the sides with shaded enameling of stylized thistles, blossoms and scrolling cloud forms on a moss green ground. The prow inset with a shaped panel painted en plein with a winter landscape depicting a wolf fleeing a hunter. The upright shaped handle pierced and with conforming decoration against a stippled ground. Hallmarked Moscow 1908-1917, KFABERGE in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, overstamping the Cyrillic maker's mark FR for Feodor Ruckert and with 88 silver standard. Also with scratched inventory number 24719. Height 3.7 inches (9.2 cm).
