A PAIR OF RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT CENTENNIAL JUBILEE KOVSHI, ST. PETERSBURG, 1908-1917. Of traditional form with hook handle and raised prow, the polished body engraved with strapwork, the interiors gilded, and below the prow, a cartouche engraved with the number 100. The sides engraved with rhyming Russian proverbs. Both marked St. Petersburg 1908-1917, one with Cyrillic maker's mark of Morozov and one with the Cyrillic maker's mark of Antip Kuzmechev. Length 5 inches (13 cm).
