A SILVER PECTORAL RELIQUARY CROSS, CIRCA 1890. The front with sculpted crucified Christ in high relief and the verso hinged, opening to reveal a beeswax filled compartment, verso with engraved motifs and indistinguishably hallmarked. Suspended from a 26 inch heavy, presumably silver chain, unmarked. The cross 2.6 inches (6.8 cm). Total weight 4.23 troy ounces.
