A PAIR OF RUSSIAN ARTS AND CRAFTS WOOD AND BRASS GLOVE BOXES, CIRCA 1890. The first covered with repoussé brass hinged lid depicting stylized birds and flower forms in the Panslavic taste, the front corners similarly decorated. Length 13 inches (33 cm). Together with a similar box with repousséd and polychrome scene of a soldier within a forest beneath artillery pieces and forest in repoussé copper. Length 13.4 inches (34 cm).
