A LARGE AND EXCEPTIONAL KPM (BERLIN) HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUE, CARL MEINELT (FL. 1860-1882), "JUDITH". After the painting by August Riedel housed at the Neue Pinakothek, Munich. Depicting the three quarters standing figure of Judith holding a sword and the head of Holofernes. Signed lower right "C. Meinelt". The verso with impressed KPM, scepter, and letter H. The porcelain 20.75 inches x 14.5 inches (52.5 x 37 cm).
