A LARGE FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE GILT BRONZE AND PATINATED FIGURAL CLOCK OF THE ARTS, 19TH CENTURY. Modeled as a reclining figure of putti representing music and literature, raised on a shaped white alabaster base with finely tooled bronze mounts of garland and leaf forms flanking applied gilt bronze plaques with musical and artistic motifs. Further raised on a conforming beaded and squared rosette white alabaster plinth with bronze terminals. Height 15 inches( 38 cm), length 23.5 inches (59.5 cm).
