A PAIR OF ENGLISH HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY CHAIRS, LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY. The first side chair with scroll carved backsplat below everted terminals and raised on cabriole legs with shell carved knees terminating in carved claw and ball feet. The second with a carved shield back rising above curved armrests and supported by squared legs. Largest height 37.25 inches (94.5 cm).
