A PAIR OF CHINESE ARCHAIC STYLE CARVED JADEITE LIDDED URNS. Of rectangular form, each panel with Archaistic beasts in carved relief below mythical beast form handles suspending loose rings. The corner edges with extending keyed borders. Raised on carved hardwood plinths. Height of jade 11.75 inches (30 cm), overall height 13.25 inches (34 cm).
