A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE RUSSIAN ICON OF THE ARCHANGEL MICHAEL, CIRCA 1890. Finely and realistically rendered on an ornately incised gilt ground, and the borders rendered with faux cloisonné enameling. Height 50.5 inches x 31 inches (128.5 x 78.5 cm).
