A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMEL EASTER EGG, FEODOR RUCKERT, MOSCOW, 1899-1908. The ovoid egg form consisting of two threaded halves, finely decorated with varicolored stylized floral, foliate and geometric designs on a cream enameled ground, the interior brightly gilded. Hallmarked inside on both halves Moscow 1899-1908, Cyrillic maker's mark FR for Feodor Ruckert and 84 silver standard. Height 2.2 inches (5.7 cm).
