AN IMPERIAL RUSSIAN PRESENTATION JEWELED GOLD AND ENAMELED BROOCH, POSSIBLY FABERGÉ, ST. PETERSBURG, 1913. The semi-circular brooch with gold frame set with an Imperial double headed eagle atop a blue translucent field over an engraved wavy ground. The eagle set with diamonds and at center, a sapphire. Flanked by open scrolls above a center set half pearl, the top mounted with Monomakh cap embellished with gemstones and will crown finial set with solitary diamond. Verso hallmarked St. Petersburg circa 1908-1917 and with 56 gold standard. The pin likely replaced. Height 1.3 inches (3.5 cm).
