A FABERGÉ GOLD MOUNTED TORTOISE SHELL PAPER KNIFE, MICHAEL PERCHIN, ST. PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890. The handle mounted in 18K gold in the Rococo taste with shaped cartouche engraved with initials and on verso, a small figure of Cupid with quiver and arrows perched among scroll shells. Hallmarked St. Petersburg circa 1890, Cyrillic maker’s mark MP and 72 (18K) gold standard. Length 11.5 inches (29.4 cm).
