A FINE RUSSIAN FABERGÉ SILVER INK BLOTTER, MOSCOW, 1908-1917 Of neoclassical design, the large rectangular base with beveled edge and leaf tip border and at each corner a rosette and set with a substantial mushroom shaped knob handle with beaded collar at base and ribbon tied laurel banded rim beneath a large rosette capped top. The sides with fluted shield form flanked by acanthus leaves. Stamped K.FABERGE beneath the Imperial Warrant, hallmarked Moscow circa 1908-1917, silver standard 84 and scratched inventory 41500. Length 6.6 inches (16.9 cm).
