A GROUP OF ST. GAUDENS AND C.E. BARBER COMMEMORATIVE BRONZE MEDALS, 19TH CENTURY. Comprising a George Washington 100 year inaugural anniversary by St. Gaudens struck in 1889 and four 1893 Columbian exposition presentation medals by Barber each named on verso to “Platt Mine," “Ordinance Dept., United States Navy," “Doctor J. Sachs’s, School for Girls” and “Geo. F. Atkinson” and contained in the original fitted aluminum cases. Diameter 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) and 3 inches (7.7 cm).
