AN INDO-PERSIAN GOLD AND DIAMOND ENAMELED PILL BOX, 20TH CENTURY. Of oval form, enameled with scrolled foliates on a deep red translucent enamel ground, the lid set with rough cut diamonds on an enameled cartouche and opening to reveal a black enameled floral motif. Apparently unmarked. Length 1.625 inches (42 mm), weight 48 grams.
