A LARGE CHINESE CARVED AND LACQUERED WOOD SHRINE, PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY. Of architectural form with carved roof panels, reticulated crests and figural fish terminals. Containing a carved and gilt wood Buddha, raised on a three-tiered lotus throne with large carved and gilt mandorla. Total height 42 inches (107 cm).
