A CHINESE MONGOLIAN STYLE SILVER LIDDED JAR, 20TH CENTURY. Of ovoid form with repousséd panels and lion mask handles suspending loose gray jade carved rings, inset with two carved white jade pendant plaques and embellished with coral and malachite tiles, surmounted by a carved white jade octagonal form belt hook later mounted as a lid, with carved white jade Buddha's hand finial. Height 9.25 inches (23.5 cm).
