A FRENCH GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE LAMP, CHARLES GEORGE FERVILLE-SUAN (FRENCH 1847-1925). Modeled as a child climbing a stump to escape a gathering of forest snails below. Bronze with dark brown and gilt patina, inscribed on base “Ferville-Suan” and resting on a polished marble circular plinth. Overall height excluding socket (including base) 11 inches (28 cm).
