A VERY FINE BELLE EPOQUE MOONSTONE, SAPPHIRE AND GOLD NECKLACE, CIRCA 1900. Designed as a series of nine openwork gold plaques, centering upon a quatrefoil motif, extending heart shaped cabochon moonstones, enhanced by circular cut sapphires, joined by the triple fine link chains and heart shaped cabochon moonstones, mounted in gold. Length 16.5 inches (42 cm), weight 43 grams. One chain detached.
