A FINE RUSSIAN SILVER PLATED AND CHASED SAMOVAR, 19TH CENTURY. Resting on four hoof-form feet, the inverted pear-shaped reservoir overall engraved with bands of repeating patterns and mounted with ornate handle brackets holding carved bone inserts similar to those on the crown and ring, and with ornate spigot also with carved bone mounts. Apparently unmarked. Height 19 inches (48.3 cm).
