A RUSSIAN BRONZE, EVGENY ALEXANDROVICH LANCERAY (RUSSIAN 1848-1886). A bronze table bell of dome form, simulating a seamed sack, with a small boy, shovel in hand, clambering over the top and forming the handle, one side with large Cyrillic inscription 'EL' for Evgeny Lanceray, marked with a foundry cachet dated 1875 and Cyrillic initials Ф.Ш. for F. Chopin foundry. Height 4.25 inches (10.8 cm)
