A FINE RUSSIAN LACQUERWARE AND SILVER INLAY BOX, LUKUTIN, CIRCA 1880. The hinged lid painted with a peasant girl carrying water and overall inlaid with silver. The interior painted in faux tortoise shell and with Lukutin mark beneath the Imperial Warrant. Length 3.75 inches (9.5 cm). Together with a small lacquerware stamp box the hinged lid painted with a winter troika scene and the interior with indistinguishable mark over red lacquer, probably Vishniakov. Length 2.25 inches (5.8 cm).
