A VERY FINE CHINESE CARVED NEPHRITE, WHITE JADE AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL HANGING CHIME, QING PERIOD.The green jade chime finely carved and pierced in the form of a modified Taotie mask with stylized clouds and peach branches suspended from a green jade chain mounted to a carved open work finial of bats and flowers below a carved and reticulated zitan or rosewood armature supported by four carved white jade abutments joined with a carved stretcher inset with enameled and gilt cloisonné plaques. Height 19.5 inches (49.5 cm).
