A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE CHINESE DUCAI HANDLED VASE, QIANLONG MARK AND PROBABLY OF THE PERIOD.Of square tapered form with shaped foot and neck decorated with lotus, scrolling foliage and eight Buddhist symbols. Each panel with a scrolled loop handle, the base with a Qianlong archaic style reign mark in blue under glaze (drilled for lamp) and with "Martin Hurst Collection" paper label, possibly later. Height 14.75 inches (37.5 cm).
