A FINE GERMAN SILVER-GILT COVERED WINE CUP, 18TH CENTURY, NUREMBURG. Of tapered cylindrical form raised on three ball feet and surmounted by a conforming domed cover with cut scroll foliates below a ball shape finial. Stamped marks include city mark "N" and maker's marks "HL." Height 5.5 inches (14 cm), weight approximately 4.67 troy ounces.
