A FINE SILVER AND JEWEL MOUNTED CARVED EBONY SCOTTISH DIRK, EARLY 20TH CENTURY.The elongated dagger with carved ebony hilt and silver mounts containing a large "cairngorm" stone (smoky quartz) on pommel, contained in a leather wrapped sheath with silver repousse mounts and fitted with knife and fork utensils with similar "cairngorm" stones on pommels. The whole contained in a fitted embossed leather covered box. Stamped "Made in Scotland", "Lion Passant", date letter O (1920) and maker's initials RGL. Together with a smaller and later "dirk". Length 19 inches (48 cm).
