A VERY FINE CONTINENTAL WALNUT "CAVALIER'S" OR "MONK'S" TRESTLE TABLE AND BENCHES, LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY. The solid two board plank top with scalloped apron supported by two scalloped plank legs raised on bracket feet, joined by a central stretcher. Together with two matching full-length benches with scroll cut back rests. Length 103 inches (261.5 cm), width 34.5 inches (87.5 cm), height 31.5 inches (80 cm).
