A VERY FINE MASTER CABINET MAKER'S INLAID WALNUT TOOL CHEST, LATE 19TH CENTURY.The paneled lid interior inlaid with geometric marquetry designs and eight scenic satinwood inlaid panels depicting humorous folk scenes and opposing figures of stags opening to reveal a complex interior with sliding tool holders, hinged trays and compartments. The iron bound exterior with recessed iron bail handles. Height 24.25 inches (61.6 cm), width 39.25 inches (99.7 cm), depth 25.5 inches (64.6 cm).
