A MATCHING PAIR OF RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL KOVSH FORM SALTS, MOSCOW, 1899-1908. The sides enameled with scrolling foliage in flower forms on a stippled gilt ground and the base and rim in turquoise beaded enamel and rope twist border. Together with similarly enameled salt spoons. Each piece hallmarked Moscow 1899-1908, Cyrillic makers mark "NA" for Nikolai Alekseev, and 84 silver standard. Length 3.75 inches (9.5 cm). Together with later custom-fitted silk lined case.
