IMPERIAL RUSSIAN ALEXANDER III LETTER AS TSAREVICH, ST. PETERSBURG, MARCH 22, 1866. A very personal, hand written four page letter on stationery embossed Tsarevich Alexander and written to a "very dear friend" - Nikolai Alexeievich. He discusses a variety of topics including mutual friends, the impending Austro-Prussian war, his dislike of having to go to formal balls and dances, his desire to tour Russia and his plans to help with the cholera committee. He concludes his letter, "Your Friend, Alexander". 7 inches x 4.5 inches (17.8 x 11.5 cm).
