A FINE CARVED GILT WOOD ARM RELIQUARY, ITALIAN, 17TH/18TH CENTURY. Carved in full round of good anatomy, deep folds and carved relief jeweled cuff edging and set on a multi-stepped hexagonal base with trace inscriptions. Underside with unspecified old museum loan exhibition label. Height 19.5 inches (48.2 cm).
