A FRENCH LIMOGES ENAMELED TRIPTYCH, 18TH CENTURY. The central arched enameled copper panel at top with Mary Magdalene, framed within a cartouche of wheat and grapes, flanked by two angels, below inscribed in gilt the Latin words of Consecration "Hoc Est Enim Corpus Meum". The left wing with the figure of a king and on the right wing, the crowned Virgin and Child. Contained in a carved gilt wood hinged triptych frame, the verso of the folding doors painted with a Maltese cross. Height 15 inches x 19.25 inches (open) (38 x 49 cm).
