A PERSONAL RUSSIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL ICON TRIPTYCH, MOSCOW 1895.  The central panel displaying Christ within an ogee arch reserve, the right wing the Guardian Angel and the left wing a male saint. Each framed within a border of turquoise cloisonné enamel. The silver fame with hinged wings and the verso profusely engraved with scrolling foliage, strap work, a border of repeating cross forms, and with cross–shaped latch and suspension loop on top of central section. Verso also engraved in Cyrillic, "Paul was born on 30 January 1895." Hallmarked Moscow, circa 1895, markers mark AA, probably for Andre Aleksandrov and with 84 silver standard. 3.25 inches x 4.5 inches (open), (8.3 x 11.4 cm).
