A VERY FINE GRUEBY AMERICAN ART POTTERY FLOOR VASE, CIRCA 1900.  Of elongated bulbous form with tooled and applied leaves below slender floral stems terminating in well carved stylized blossoms on a slightly everted rim and under a frothy oatmealed dark green mat glaze. Impressed circular mark "Grueby Faience Co. Boston, USA." and incised "15.9", height 21.675 inches (52.2 cm).
