A VERY FINE LARGE BERLIN KPM HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUE, 19TH CENTURY.  Finely painted with a Classical scene of young beauty in dark surroundings holding a lit oil lamp in right hand and decorated amphora in left arm. No apparent artist signature. The verso incised "KPM" with scepter mark and 386. The plaque 9.625 inches x 5.75 inches (24.3 x 14.5 cm). Contained in a very fine Byzantine style carved, jeweled and gilt-wood frame, 19 inches x 16 inches (48.5 x 40.5 cm) overall.
