A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN AND GILT BRONZE CHANDELIER. The sectioned porcelain sphere oil font painted with scenic cartouches of cherubs on a bleu celeste ground with gilt foliates mounted with nine scrolled acanthus arm candle brackets with bleu celeste drip pans below gilt socket terminals, the whole suspended from three gilt bronze chains interspersed with bleu celeste porcelain bead and embossed gilt bronze spindles. The sockets containing later electrical candles. Height 46 inches (117 cm), diameter 22 inches (56 cm).
