A POLISH SILVER AND LAPIS LAZULI WATCH STAND, CIRCA 1886.  The rectangular case on shaped blue lapis plinth with eight recessed panels carved with foliate and strap work pendants displaying a fixed pocket watch below a figural sculpted goose in flight surmounted with a blue satin glass egg form finial/box with hinged cover. Stamped Austro-Hungarian marks and makers mark "M", height 9.25 inches (23.2 cm).
