AN IMPRESSIVE STERLING SILVER EQUESTRIAN TROPHY CUP, LONDON 1860, BY DANIEL & CHARLES HOULE.  Finely repoussed and chased in deep relief with scrolled foliates, blossoms and fruits on a stippled and pounced ground, the cover surmounted with a sculpted figure of a thoroughbred, engraved cartouche for "RUGBY HUNT CUP Won by Hon’ble W.North’s ANTELOPE March 1863", stamped hallmarks. Height 13.5 inches (34.2 cm), weight 70.1 troy oz.
