A FINE AUSTRIAN SILVER LIDDED STANDING GOBLET, CIRCA 1869. In the German Renaissance style with shaped bosses engraved with various coats of arms and separated with chased strap work raised on a figural stem of four reticulated dragons below a conforming cover with sculpted figural finial. Inscribed Latin dedicatory on base with date 1869, Austrian assay stamp and makers mark "H &Co." Height 17.25 inches (43.5 cm), weight 39.9 troy oz.
