A LARGE AND FINELY CARVED IVORY FIGURE OF DIONYSUS, GERMAN, 18TH CENTURY. Finely carved in full round, with good proportions and anatomy. Depicting the nude figure harvesting grapes and set on an octagonal shaped wooden plinth. Height of ivory 9.5 inches (24 cm), overall height 11.75 inches (29.5 cm).
