A PAIR OF FRANCO-FLEMISH CARVED IVORY FIGURES OF ELDERLY STREET BEGGARS, LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY. Well modeled as an elderly male and female in ragged layered clothing. The woman with coin cup and the man with arm in sling. Each raised on velvet covered stands. Height of ivory 4.75 inches (12 cm), overall height 6.25 inches (16 cm).
