A GOOD LOUIS XVI STYLE GILT BRONZE AND MAHOGANY LONG CASE CLOCK, AFTER PAUL SORMANI, 19TH CENTURY. The waisted circular clock case mounted with large gilt bronze winged putti resting on bronze cloud forms. Raised on a tapering rectangular stand with gilt bronze sunburst mask plaque of Apollo above a hinged pendulum door mounted with floral urns and foliate scrolls above gilt bronze lion paw feet. Height 86.5 inches (219.5 cm), width 19.5 inches (49.5 cm), depth 12 inches (30.5 cm).
