A VERY FINE FRENCH RESTORATION GILT BRONZE AND ALABASTER MANTLE CLOCK. With two sculpted kneeling figures of women representing music flanking an oval case with draped swags containing a silk thread bronze movement and surmounted with a gilt bronze putto on stylized cloud form raised on a shaped base set with gilt bronze plaques with musical motifs. The enameled dial inscribed "Bourdier". Height 15 inches (38 cm), length 16 inches (41 cm).
